The Swan Egg Chair 2013

The Swan Egg Chair is a speculative design imagined for the Glenorchy Art and Sculpture Park (GASP!) on the banks of the river Derwent. The design could be created from a variety of materials including timber, cement, fibreglass, etc. The full scale model pictured, was created from stack laminated MDF, threaded rod and acrylic paint. Created for third year furniture design at the School of Creative Arts and Media, University of Tasmania.
